Sport’s Club „Milowice”, founded in 1906, was the oldest soccer football formed in Sosnowiec under foreign rule 1902 to 1918. In 1908 they changed their name for Sports Society „Union” and Aleksander Rene and Edmund Pladek were the main club’s administrators. The football team performed in white shirt with a red stripe (the second team with a black stripe). Another sport society (formed in 1910) which members also took up soccer, had strong links with locial rolling –mill and cost iron foundry. Before the 1st Word War they want on the pitch as „Orion”. In independent Poland Sports Society „Victoria” (football’s section) was formed in Sosnowiec in 1918, while Sports Club „Sosnowiec” — a year later.
