The results of sows' reproduction depend (in about 90%) on environmental factors, especially nutrition. The level of feeding in particular periods of reproductive cycle and balanced diets influence the changes in body weight and fatty reserve, the level of culling sows from herd, renewal of reproductive cycle and obtaining expected reproduction parameters. The metabolic rate and endocrinological processes, which participate in pigs' reproduction, are determined by quantity and quality of feeds. So, the optimal resolve, that may be recommended to practical pigs' production dealing with the level of sows' nutrition in periods of growing, flushing and lower pregnancy is: low-high-low (LHL). However during higher pregnancy, before farrowing, during lactation and around weaning period the recommended feeding schedule is: restrictive- low-high-high (RLHH).
