In the article the effects of nutrients on poultry immunity were reviewed. The most important nutrients for immunity are some amino acids (aginine, methionine), vitamins (E, A, C), microelements (Zn, Se) and fatty acids (PUFA n-3, CLA). In the case of the above amino acids, microelements and vitamin E, the requirement of poultry for optimal immunity could be higher than for maximal performance
