W opracowaniu omówiono pięć ważniejszych chorób owsa: rdzę koronową, rdzę źdźbłową, mączniak, plamistość, wirozę w oparciu o badania własne, obserwacje i literaturę. Zamieszczono informację o możliwości międzynarodowej współpracy służącej zwalczaniu chorób owsa w ramach EODN.

Five oat diseases: crown rust, stem rust, powdery mildew, blotch leaf and virus on base of own study, observations, literature were related. International cooperation of oat diseases managment and control are carry out in EODN under coordination of Dr. Josef Sebesta in Prague.
