An attempt was undertaken to validate newly developed technology allowing for elimination of pathogenic agents from potato tubers and for improvement of tuber quality. Also device necessary for the realization of this technology is described. It was found that electrostimulation positively affects potato tuber quality. Effective parameters of electrostimulation were as follows: electrical voltage 250-350 V, duration time 180-240 s, frequency 25-50 Hz, current intensity 0.30- 1.02 A, sinusoidal course of impulse run, and sinusoid saturation 60-80%. The elaborated technology and device can be widely used in potato industry.
