EN

The spatial planning policy for Poland is built upon the settlement system objectives. The planning studies of Polish regions (Voivodships) have thoroughly reviewed these objectives. The Ministry of Spatial Planning and Construction has reviewed the current status, capacity and goals of planning policies in order to identify major issues nation-wide and to improve consistency of regional studies. Also, initial findings of bilateral planning projects in transborder areas are presented. The projects are managed by bilateral committees and their responsibility is to determine the objectives, recommendations and specific tasks for Poland and respective neighbouring countries.
