Zawartości Ca, Mg, Fe i Cd w dwóch rodzajach miodu, nektarowym i spadziowym, pochodzących z terenów niezurbanizowanych i zurbanizowanych były mało zróżnicowane. Jedynie ilości Cd w miodach z terenów miejskich wskazują na wpływ zanieczyszczenia środowiska.

Contents of Ca, Mg, and Fe in two types of honeys, nectarous and honeydew, collected from non- urbanized and urbanized areas were investigated. Also the Cd content, as a marker of the environmental contamination was determined. The Ca concentration of was higher in nectarous honeys than in honeydew, whereas a higher content of Mg was in honeydew honey. This difference concerned both kinds of honeys from non- urbanized areas as well as honeys from urbanized areas. The Fe content in honeys varied depending on the regions. In non-urbanized areas a higher content of Fe was in nectarous honeys, and from urbanized areas - in honeydew honeys. The level of Cd was significantly higher in honeydew honeys than in nectarous, and also significantly higher in both kinds of honeys from urbanized areas. Greater pollution of the environment in urbanized areas did not have significant influence on the Ca, Mg and Fe contents, but did affect the content of Cd.
