Materials handling as used on the farms are classified as second problem of farm engineering. First problem is crops harvesting. There was made research work in 13 farms localized in middle-east of Poland. Determined the mass of farm materials and manufactures materials, also give conveying equipment used to moved it mass into and from storage or to and from farm processing operations. Average farm has: 18,5 ha of land, 2,5 workers, 9,4 ha on one tractor, 18,5 great count over animals and 368 tons of raw materials to move. Raw materials are moved 2,1 times in livestock and 3,9 times in field production. Mass handling are 1058 tons together, but 48% are moved by conveying equipment only.
