W pracy przedstawiono wyniki bilansu fosforu w pięciu gospodarstwach rolnych województwa zachodniopomorskiego w latach 2000 - 2002. Efektywność wykorzystania fosforu była najniższa w gospodarstwie najmniejszym o ekstensywnej produkcji (8%) a największa i corocznie wzrastająca w gospodarstwie intensywnym o dużej powierzchni (prawie 98%).

Paper presented the balance of phosphorus, in five farms of Zachodniopomorskie province, were estimated within 2000 - 2002. The farm gate phosphorus balance was performed according to the well accepted PARCOM rules adopted to Polish conditions by [Pietrzak 1997]. The inputs comprise phosphorus in commercial fertilizers, purchased animal feed, mineral additives, purchased seed etc., but also in wet and dry precipitation. The outputs comprise phosphorus in sold plant and animal products. The difference between inputs and outputs is phosphorus surplus. The surplus was generally expressed in kg P·ha⁻¹ to arable the comparison between the farms. The ratio of phosphorus sold in products to total phosphorus inputs is the phosphorus utilization efficiency expressed in percent. Most of phosphorus was supplied on the farms with mineral fertilizers, from 7 (farm II 2001) to 46 kg P·ha⁻¹ (farm III). Phosphorus output varied between 1 and 23 kg P·ha⁻¹. Most phosphorus left the farms with sold plant products. Balance varied between -6 and +40 kg P·ha⁻¹. Utilization efficiency of phosphorus was lowest on a small and less intensive farm (8%) whereas the highest on a big intensive farm (almost 98 %), also phosphorus surplus was smallest on big farm (+6 in 2000 to +0,4 kg P·ha⁻¹ in 2002). Different phosphorus balances and utilization efficiency showed high differences in phosphorus management level on the farms.
