Ze względu na sposób zbierania zużytych opakowań wyróżnić można systemy: odbierania i przynoszenia. Na rozwój recyklingu decydujący wpływ wywierają uwarunkowania prawne i związane z nimi koszty. Poznanie trudności, jakie wystąpiły w Niemczech w trakcie wdrażania systemu zbiórki i recyklingu zużytych opakowań oraz związanych z tym doświadczeń pomóc może przy opracowaniu właściwej strategii działań.

Taking into consideration the method of post-use packaging collection two systems can be distinguished viz. receiving and bringing. The decisive influences on the development of recycling have legal conditions and costs connected with them. The knowledge of dificulties that have occurred in Germany during the introduction of the packaging waste collection and recycling system and the experience connected with them could be helpful in the elaboration of a suitable strategy in Poland.
