Paper presents a new design of welding machine using hydrogen-oxygen mixture obtained by water electrolysis. The machine consists of two electrolysers working in bipolar system powered by direct current through one-phase variable current charger. Variable output of gases is controlled by continous adjustment of the current intensity supplied to electrolysers by means of a phase control system. The welding machine is equipped with a flash-back protecting device, pressure cut-out switch and a thermostat protecting the electrolysers against excessive temperature increase.
