Badania nad wystepowaniem antybiotykow Beta-laktamowych i innych substancji hamujacych w mleku dostarczanym do Punktow Skupu Mleka przez rolnikow indywidualnych
A total of 5049 samples of milk taken from small containers and 39 samples of collected milk obtained from purchasing centres were tested for the presence of inhibitory substances. It was found that 15.71 per cent of can milk and 33.33 per cent of collected milk contained those substances: beta-lactum antibiotics at the rate of 0.008—0.017 IU per ml were found in 10.38 per cent of can milk and 20.51 per cent in collected milk. Five of 40 milk stations possessed milk free from beta-lactum antibiotics and only two from inhibitory substances. Such a high per cent of milk contaminated with beta-lactum antibiotics suggest that those preparations has been administered for treatment of udders by farmers without any control of veterinary service.
