Labour time and leisure are two important areas of the human life but also opposite and, at the same time, complementary and being a requisite to each other elements of the human being's time budget. Relations between them, due to the possibility to satisfy definite needs of the human being, significantly determine their functioning in all spheres of the life (professional, family, social, personal, etc.), and they entail definite for the given individual and their family consequences (positive and negative). In the article, on the basis of results of surveys on the representative sample of consumers from the middle class in the Zachodniopomorski (Western Pomeranian) region, there are presented relations between these two areas of human activity, being an effect of socioeconomic transformations of the Polish economy and civilising transformations, including, particularly, changes in the labour market in Poland.

Рабочее время и досуг две важньїе сферьі жизни человека, но и противоположньїе друг другу и, одновременно, взаимодополняющиеся и обусловливающиеся злементьх бюджета времени человека. Соотношения между ними, имея в виду возможность удовлетворения определйнньїх потребностей человека, существенньїм образом предопределяют его функционирование во всех сферах жизни (профессиональной, семейной, товарищеской, личной и т. п.) и влекут за собой определснньїе для данного индивида и его семьи последствия (положительньїе и отрицательньїе). В статье, на основе результатов исследований на представительной вьіборке потребителей из среднего слоя общества из западнопоморского региона, представленьї соотношения между зтими двумя сферами активности человека, представляющие собой зффект общественно-зкономических преобразований процесса трансформации польской зкономики и цивилизационньїх преобразований, в том числе, в особенности, изменений на рьінке труда в Польше.
