The article presents a mathematical model for scheduling farm machinery on an example of spring field cultivation operations. The model provides a tool for decision making in farm management. The coefficient α, enabling production process structure analysis under varying numbers of daily work hours, is an important element of the model. Additionally, the model may be applied on any farm with respect to machinery regardless of its operating capacity. By analyzing the optimum solutions yielded by the model, it is possible to develop machine and staffing field work schedules.
