Oznaczono zawartości Fe i Mn w węglach brunatnych odmian ziemistych pochodzących z pięciu polskich kopalni i w popiołach z węgla brunatnego pochodzących z czterech elektrowni.

The determination of Fe and Mn was done in brown cools from somewhere 5 mines (Sieniawa, Konin, Bełchatów, Adamów, Turów) and in ashes produced as waste in 4 electricity power plants (Adamów, Bełchatów, Konin and Turów). Ashes obtained from brown coals after mineralization and ashes from power station were dissolved in HCl. The total content of Fe and Mn in investigated samples of brown coals and their ashes were determinated by method ICP-AES. In brown coals the mean content of Fe reached 7041 mg/kg of D.M. The content of Mn (mean value reached 200,2 mg/ kg of D.M.), In ashes the mean value of Fe reached 26974 mg/kg of D.M. The concentration of Mn - mean value for all investigated ashes reached 1385 mg/kg of D.M.
