Przedstawiono porównanie zawartości podstawowych składników odżywczych pobranych racji uzyskanych metodami analitycznymi oraz obliczonych na podstawie tabel wartości odżywczej z 1998 r. w kontekście różnicy pomiędzy masą diety zważoną a obliczoną na podstawie zapisów o składzie racji. Badaniem objęto wartość energetyczną, zawartość białka, tłuszczu, cholesterolu, wody i popiołu.

Tlie aim of the study was comparison of basic nutrients content in collected diets, obtained in analytical studies and calculated theoretically. Nutrients content in the diets was determinated by analytical methods and was calculated using the tables of nutritive values of foods products. Analytical average content of energy, protein, fat, ash and water was higher than theoretical value. In case of fat, this difference was statistically significant (p< 0,05) in the group of diets with weighted and calculated mass difference was up to 5%.Theoretical results for cholesterol were 15 - 20% higher then compared to analytical studies. Positive correlation of analytical and theoretical values between mass and water (r = 0,71; r = 0,98; p<0,01) was observed for both diet groups. This correlation was maintained also for energy value (r = 0,66; p<0,01) for diets with mass difference up to 5% and for protein content (r = 0,97; p<0,01) for diets with mass difference up to 5-10%.
