PL

Ochrona roślin oparta na chemii nie może być społecznie akceptowana, ekologicznie uzasadniona. Nie można zwalczać szkodników w oderwaniu od chronionej rośliny, a szerzej — ekosystemu, w którym ona żyje. Podmiotem ochrony powinna być zawsze roślina, jej zdrowy rozwój. Skuteczność mogą zapewnić tu tylko metody zintegrowane, uwzględniające biologię szkodników roślin, i ich antagonistów, biologię osłanianej rośliny, wzajemne stosunki między szkodnikami a ich wrogami, czyli interakcje między poszczególnymi elementami ekosystemu.

Plant protection based on chemicals can neither be accepted by the society nor ecologically justified. A pest species cannot be controlled separately from considering the plant which is protected and — in wider terms—from the ecosystem in which the plant lives. The primary objects of the protection should always be the plant and its healthy growth. The only methods that may prove effective will be an integrated approach taking into account the biology of the pest ant its antagonists, the biology of the protected plant, and the mutual relationships between various components of the ecosystem.
