The paper presents atteepts to evaluate chosen factors which hypotheiically should influence energy consumption of corn production on a farm. Area of: cropland, ploughland, corn, root crops, fodder and grassland have been included to such factors. Energy consumption as reffered to the power of tractors working on farms in kW was also compared. As a result important correlation connections between the mentioned factbrs and cumulative energy consumption of corn unit and energy consumption of streams: inveutment means and animal labour were obtained. The obtained negative correlation relationships show that together with the Increase of mechanical tractive force unit per farm area energy expenditure needed for the unitary corn production decreases.
