This paper is the introduction to the presentation of special report relative to the problems of GMO in Poland. This report is prepared for starting the all-Polish discussion about different aspects of creating and using transgenic organisms. The representatives of the science, business, different organisations, administration and Catholic Church have taken the part in the working out of this report. Report is published on initiative of Foundation for Polish Agriculture and Institute for Eco-development.
