Known methods of recording the spatial configuration of the surface of the inventoried object either renden incomplete information about the spatial configuration of this surface, or do not record depressions of the surface inventoried photographically. The proposed method, according to our own solutions, named the photointerference method, in which contour lines are created in the consequence of interference of the grid thread image with their shadow on the photographed surface, is the method allowing great simplification of image analysis and increasing research possibilities.
