1. French seeing of the present situation and future development of Polish food and agriculture sector is rather practical. The French strongly expose their needs and expectations in further expanding their food and agriculture export, and do not see the need for a remarkable EU support to the same Polish sector and do not plan any larger investment in the sector. At the same time they consider the necessity of restructurization of food and agriculture sector in Poland, and point out the necessity oj Polish readjustement to the legal, organizational and guality demands of EU systems - with no longer transit period. 2. Such an approach to the accession of Polish agriculture to EU doesn't forecast any easy and beneficial Polish negotiations - especially if one assumes that the same approach represent also other EU memeber countries. 3. At that situation it seems indispensable for Polish negotiators to be well prepared totake up talks with European Commissions on accession terms, as wellas starting of an informative action in EU decision making centeres and mass media, to high light objectively the present situation and future development needs and possibilities of Polish food and agriculture sector, in order to point out the benefits that will be derived by the accession, even though it will be calling for economical and social support in the first period on the accession.
