In the material collected from 1986 to 1988 In Roztocze (SE Poland) 212 species of Chrysomelidae were recorded (these constitute 45% of the Polish chrysomelid fauna). 22 of these were for the first time recorded from this region. The characteristics of the chrysomelid communities of 11 plant associations studied (8 forests and 3 open habitats) and a zoogeographlcal analysis are presented.
