Cyclophora puppillaria (HBN.) is for the first time recorded from Poland. The species was collected at light at Gubałówka Hill near Zakopane (UTM: DV26). It is suspected to be an immigrant, because of the lack of appropriate habitat in this region and a long distance from the nearest populations in southern Europe. Characteristics of external appearance of adults and genitalia of both sexes is given
