Stwierdzono, że uszkadzanie nasion fasoli w procesie omłotu uwarunkowane jest właściwościami młóconych nasienników oraz cechami konstrukcyjnymi zespołu młócącego. Przy czym niezależnie od odmiany młóconych nasienników najniższym poziomem uszkodzeń w procesie omłotu charakteryzowały się zespoły "wycierające" z elementami roboczymi pokrytymi gumą.

The studies were performed to determine bean seeds damage during threshing by classic and model threshing units.The analysis of the results obtained showed that bean seeds damage during threshing by model threshing units was many-fold lower than during threshing with classic threshing unit of the combine-harvester Z 040. The range and type of seed losses during threshing were differentiated by the construction of working elements of threshing unit and by varietal traits of bean.From among the studied model threshing mechanisms, the most favourable, especially for French bean varieties, could be the rubbing mechanism, in which seed separation consists in rubbing the seeds between the rubber toothed belt and the immovable concave of the thresher. This unit has wide control range of working parameters in comparison to other mechanisms tested. It allows us to adjust the tested unit individually according to the requirements of a given plant.
