The consumption of home fruit-and-vegetable processing products is discussed and a negative effect of prices on their consumption level is stressed. Threats for the home processing industry caused by the import are presented. Errors in selling Polish products are shown and the solution way of this problem is proposed. Proposals of restructurization as well as of widening and diversifying the production assortments are given.
