EN

Paper presents a review of the machines used for silage preparation in big plastic tubes. A special attention was paid to the machines for filling plastic bags with fodder crops of different form (chopped, big round bales and square bales). Comparative qualitative evaluation was performed for the silages produced from green forage of different dry matter content harvested in form of round bales wrapped with flexible plastic or put into big plastic tubes.
