Metodyczne i merytoryczne podejście do opracowania studium zagospodarowania przestrzennego województwa jeleniogórskiego. Prezentacja celów studium oraz sposobu uspołecznienia procesu planowania, na który składają się liczne konsultacje i uzgodnienia przeprowadzone w latach 1995-1996.

The article presents the methodological approach and content of the Planning Study of the Jelenia Góra Region. The goals of the Study are highlighted along with public involvement mechanisms such as consultations and discussions held in 1995 and 1995, including discussions with agencies from the neighbouring countries (Germany, the Czech Republic). The Study gives separate treatment of the policies linked to the conservation and management of natural and cultural environment and to infrastructure network systems and of policies of human settlement, regional services and siting new manufacturing operations. The content structure of the Study follows the model prescribed by the Planning Act and it covers: current situation, goals and policy objectives. The functional and physical structure of the region and identified problem areas serve as the framework.
