Metodą AAS oznaczono zawartość Mn, Cu, Zn i Fe w 148 próbkach 24 odmian jablek zebranych w sadach na terenie woj. gdańskiego w 1988 r. lub zakupionych na rynku w Gdańsku jesienią i zimą 1988 - 1989.

Using flame AAS, manganese, copper, zinc, and iron content was assayed in 24 varieties of apples collected from the orchads located in the District of Gdańsk in 1988 or bought at the market in the city of Gdańsk in autumn and winter 1988-89. The following values of weighted arithmetic means of manganese, cooper, zinc, and iron concentration in edible parts (pith and skin) of apples, were found: 0.56, 0.30, 0.32, and 2.6 mg/kg of fresh weight, respectively. The respective values of concentration ranges as follows were noted: 0.27 - 0.87 (0.17 - 1.4), 0.052 - 0.51 (0.039 - 0.64), 0.20 - 0.45 (0.12 - 0:64), and 7.6-10 (0.69 - 16) mg/kg.
