Badano wpływ ołowiu i oleju z wiesiołka na aktywność enzymatyczną surowicy krwi i wątroby szczurów. Stwierdzono ogólnie wzrost aktywności AlAT, AspAT i AP, Z wyjątkiem obniżenia aktywności AP w wątrobie pod wpływem ołowiu.

The effects of lead (Pb) and Oenothera paradoxa oil (OW) on blood serum and liver enzyme atcivities in rats were investigated. Four groups (5 males and 5 females in each) of Buffalo rats were maintained on a semisynthetic diet for 8 weeks. Group 1 was the control, group 2 (OW) received Oenothera paradoxa oil (300 mg/day/rat) during the last 4 weeks of the experiment, group 3 (Pb) received lead acetate in drinking water (400 mg Рb/l) for the 8 weeks, while group 4 (Pb + OW) rats were given lead as group 3 and Oenothera paradoxa oil as group 2. At the end of the experiment, activities of blood serum and liver alanine aminotransferase - AlAT (E.C.2.6.1.2.), aspartate aminotransferase - AspAT (E.C.2.6.1.1.) and alkaline phosphatase - AP (E.C.3.1.3.1.) were determined. Oenothera paradoxa oil in rats (group OW) increased blood serum and liver AlAT, AspAT and AP activities. Lead intoxication of rats (group Pb) had a similar effect on serum enzyme activities as that of Oenothera paradoxa oil, while liver Pb increased AlAT and AspAT activities and decreased AP activity. The changes of enzyme activities in rats receiving both Pb and OW (group Pb + OW) were similar as those in rats receiving Pb (group Pb) and OW (group OW) alone, but the scope of the change was smaller.
