New localities for Phyllitis scolopendrium (Polypodiaceae) in the Beskid Niski Mts. Fragmenta Floristica et Geobotanica Polonica 8: 135–142. Kraków. PL ISSN 1640 629X. ABSTRACT: Eleven new stands of Phyllitis scolopendrium (L.) Newm. have been found during three years (1998–2000) of field studies in the Beskid Niski range. One stand is located within the boundaries of the Magurski National Park, while the others are situated in the managed forests. The populations of P. scolopendrium are confined to small patches, ranging from 100 square meters to 0.6 ha. Number of specimens in one locality ranges from 10 to 2500. Plants in the new populations are healthy, the size structure is well balanced, and none of the new populations seems to be endangered.
