287 species of Noctuidae were recorded in the Roztocze Upland (SE Poland), and 285 of these were recorded during studies carried out from 1986 to 1990. These constitute 59% of the Noctuidae recorded from Poland. 240 species were found in the Roztoczański National Park. The data include two species new to the Polish fauna: Cucullta blattariae and Xylomoia gramtnea (the latter being new to Europe, too) and also 18 species rare in this country. A zoogeographical and ecological analysis is presented.
