W pracy przedstawiono: - zasadę oraz wyniki elektrycznych pomiarów objętościowej wilgotności gleby z zastosowaniem TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry).

The paper presents: - principle and results of electric measurement of volumetric soil moisture using TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry). The basic variable is velocity of propagation of electromagnetic pulse in soil, which is related to the soil moisture. The method needs no calibration specific to each particular soil except for the accounting for the soil bulk density; - principle and results of electric measurement of soil salinity using TDR. The basic variables are dielectric constant and bulk electric conductivity of the soil. Derivative of the bulk electric conductivity to dielectric constant is related to soil salinity and sand content. The method needs no calibration specific to each particular soil except for the accounting for sand content.
