Observations were done on 77 cows, low-land black and white of different age in two cowsheds. The animals were divided randomely into three groups on the basis of clinical status of their reproductive tract and used methods of treatment. Group I consisted of 28 cows with diagnosed clinically yellow body. It was treated once with Oestrophan at a dose of 500 mg intramuscularly. Group II consisting of 25 cows with anoestrus persisting for about 2 monthes since calving without any pathological lesions in the reproductive tract were injected Oestrophan at a dose of 500 mg/animal. Cows in which oestrus was induced were inseminated but anoestric cows were injected Oestrophan after 12 days again and then they were inseminated after 72 and 96 h irrespectively of oestrus symptoms. Group III — 24 cows with muco-purulent or purulent metritis was treated intrauterinally with Germast at a dose of 20 ml and with Oestrophan at a dose of 500 mg. The best results were noted in group I in which pregnancy was noted in 85.6% of cows at a gravidity index 1.70. In group II 72% of cows was pregnant at a gravidity index 1.77 and in group III 79.2% of cows was pregnant at a gravidity index 1.63.
