The paper presents the content of magnesium in fodder herbs and meadow weeds harvested from two sites fertilized and nonfertilized on the organic soil.Herbs harvested from nonfertilized peat soil are richer in these elements (Mg) than those harvested from fertilized peat soil. Heracleum spondylium, Crisium oleraceum, Daucus carota Polygonum bistorta, Taraxacum officinale, contained much more magnesium than feedding standards determined. Other species as Achillea ptarmica, Glechoma
