Experiments were carried out to determine the functional quality of "Magda" single-row harvester as affected by following factors: - selected morphological traits characteristic to haricot bean plants of 4 various cultivars, - spacing of plants in a row, - rotational speed of pods stripping drums. Analysed statistically results showed that the losses of pods left by harvester on the ground significantly depended on the height of first pods location on the plants only. Losses of pods left on the plants (unstripped) were significantly affected either, by plant height, height of first pods location and plant spacing in a row. Rotational speed of harvesting drums affected significantly the contents of broken and untorn pods in harvested material.
