Metodą wywiadu żywieniowego z ostatnich 24 godz. przed badaniem oceniono sposób żywienia 174 kobiet z Legnicy i okolic. Wykazano niedobory wielu składników odżywczych z wyjątkiem białka, tłuszczu, fosforu, magnezu, witamin: A, E i C.

Dietary habits and frequency of intake of individual food products were assessed in 174 females from Legnica and its neighbourhood. The assessment was based on 24-hour dietary history of intake of food products and dishes. Numerous instances of nutritional faults were detected in the group. The average daily dietary rations of the women were characterized by the deficiency of all nutritional components except fats, protein, phosphorus, magnesium and antioxidant vitamins. The share of the energy obtained from fats was 35,8%, considerably in excess of the recommended optimum; at the same time, insufficient energy was obtained from carbohydrates. The women consumed insufficient amounts of fibre and mineral components (calcium, iron, zinc, copper) and vitamins B1, B2, and B3.
