The influence of ethephon treatment on Mg transport in leaves, stems and fruits of hot pepper was investigated. It was found, that ethephon treatment on pepper transplants caused prolongation of Mg uptake by leaves. It slowed down Mg translocation into the fruits and decreased Mg content in hot pepper fruits.
