During trials were analysed reaction of chickens which had fed mixtures with different concentration and sources of energy in range of digestive tract parameters. The vegetable fat - oil and animal fat - lard (0,3,6,9%) and different species of grains (wheat, barley, rye, triticale) like a source of energy from carbohydrates have been used in feeds. The trials were conducted on male chickens (cocks) kept in cages system. The chicks were fed ad libitum, to levels system of feeding have been used (starter and grower). The length of duodenum, small, cecum and large intestine and weight of duodenum, small, cecum and large intestine, liver, pancreas and body weight were estimated in l.,2.,3.,4.,7.,l l.,21. and 35. days of live. In the results of trials the individual changes of chicks were demonstrated. The intensive growth of digestive tract weight were registrated during 7. to 11. days of live, and it have been dependent of trials values. The highest growth of small and cecum intestine weight were observed and later time for duodenum, too. The length and weight of large intestine and gizzard were stabilised. The supplement of oil - 9% decreased rate of growth of chicks, weight of pancreas in 35. days of live, and increased weight of liver in 21. day. The weight of cecum were decreased in inverse proportion to supplement of lard in 35. days of live. The weight of liver and pancreas have been highest in groups fed mixtures with 6% of lard supplement. The highest level of energy in feeds for chicks during first days of live were unprofitable for growth. Chicks fed mixtures with high level of grains (wheat, rye, triticale) had a lower body weight in 7., 11., 21. and 35. days in comparison with corn fed groups. The highest level of barley and rye, similar like a 6-9% of fat supplementation in feeds were increased weight and length of duodenum. The grains were changed size of cecum, and the intensive growth of this parameter have been observed after 7. days of live. The increased of weight of cecum were observed in groups fed mixtures with high level of rye, triticale and barley.
