In the article, the author presented the results of the survey on small enterprises in Ukraine in the period of transformation (1998-2007). The subject matters of the survey are ties between privatisation and development of small enterprises in Ukraine. As the quantitative index, there is chosen the number of registered small enterprises in Ukraine as of 31 December of each successive year of the period of survey. And the qualitative index is the share of small enterprises in the domestic sales of goods, work and services.

В статье представлены результаты обследования малых предприятий в Украине в период трансформации (1998-2007 гг.). Предметом обследования являются связи между приватизацией и развитием малых предприятий в Украине. В качестве количественного показателя было избрано число зарегистрированных малых предприятий в Украине по состоянию на 31 декабря каждого очередного года обследуемого периода. Качественным же показателем является доля малых предприятий в продаже на внуреннем рынке товаров, работ и услуг.
