Abstrakty

The article presents the results of research devoted to the potato year by year planting. The research has been conducted on 432 fields located in the region with a large share of potatoes in the plant production. It has been observed, that under correct technological conditions, with a high level of natural and artificial fertilizers and especially with sowing second crop for green manure it is possible to reach yields comparable with the ones reached on other fields. It is recommended to keep the technological regime required by a given variety in order to reduce the risk. Under the conditions of high agricultural culture, good work, it is possible to sow about 66,7% of all arable land with the potato. It is very important from the economic pointof view, as in the last few years the potato production has been very profitable in Poland.
