The paper presents energetistic evaluation of the technology of harvesting sugar-beets with a Stoll V 202 combine harvester, together with picking up leaves for a fertilizer. Net energetistic value of soilage made of leaves was compared with energetistic profit obtained from underplouhging leaves. An experimental plot with winter wheat and variable mineral fertilization was established for the effects of leaves underploughing. Despite the proved evidence of the influence of mineral elements contained in leaves on the increase of wheat crops, according to the criterion of energetistic expenditure, in the analysed technologies it is more advantageous to use leaves for fodder.
