The paper presents the results of a study of Heteroptera communities inhabiting lawns in two housing estates in Warsaw. 66 Heteroptera species were registered. The species composition, abundance and structure of dominance of the communities were determined. The Heteroptera communities in the estate lawns under study show a strong similarity in species composition. Lygus rugulipennis and Trigonotylus caelestialium are the most abundant species. Heteropterans form richer communities and are more abundant in open lawns.
