Oznaczono zawartość 11 składników mineralnych (wapń, magnez, żelazo, cynk, mangan, miedz, kobalt, chrom, nikiel, ołów, kadm) w herbatach czerwonych oraz w mieszankach herbat czerwonych i zielonych z dodatkami. Oceniono także wydajność procesu ługowania analizowanych składników z liści do naparu.

The concentrations of 11 elements (Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, Co, Cr, Ni, Pb, Cd) were determined in oolong species of market teas. The total metals content was determined in an air-acetylene flame by AAS method using deuterium-background correction. In the case of Ca and Mg measurements, La was used as a releasing agent at the concentration of 0.1% w/v. The contents of minerals according to the oolong teas were as follow: 400 do 723 mg Ca; 187-233 mg Mg; 30.5 - 97.2 mg Fe; 2.90 - 4.67 mg Zn; 56.2 - 99.5 mg Mn; 1.65 - 2.36 mg Cu; 0.11 - 0.24 mg Co; 0.13-0.34 mg Cr; 0.39-0.66 mg Ni; 0.27-1.67 mg Pb and 0.004-0.011 mg Cd in 100 g of the examined teas. The percentages of metals leaching into infusions from the teas were as follow: Ca - 16; Mg - 28; Fe - 7,4; Zn - 45; Mn - 15; Cu - 9; Co - 35; Cr - 18; Ni - 42; Pb - 39; Cd - 43.
