Basic nutrients, minerals, total protein and its fractions in colostrum from cows fed feed supplemented with yeast metabolites (60 g/d/animal) in perinatal period, as well as the level of immunoglobulins in calves' blood serum on the 2nd and 35th d of their life were determined. Additionally, the total immunoglobulin index in calves aged 3-4 weeks was calculated. It was demonstrated that feed with an additive of yeast metabolites increased colostrum content of crude protein from 11.7 to 12.17%, fat-free dry matter from 16.33 to 16.7%, calcium from 1.59 to 1.68 g/L, phosphorus from 1.52 to 1.62 g/L, zinc from 9.41 to 6.96 mg/L, and copper from 2.03 to 2.21 mg/L, and slightly decreased the content of crude fat and lactose. The level of colostrum immunoglobulins, especially α-globulins (from 13.5 to 14.5 g/L), ß- globulins (from 6.3 to 7.1 g/L), and γ-globulins (from 48.5 to 53.0g/L) was clearly incereased. The passive immunity transfer in calves was improved what was affirmed by higher level of serum immunoglobulins and the total immunoglobulins index for calves in weeks 3-4 of life. The diversity of immunological values of colostrum was decreased.
