The subject of this paper was the technological evaluation of grain of 4 groups of winter widehybrids of the generations F6- F13: (T. aestivum L. x T. durum Desf.) x T. aestivum L. — 64 wide-hybrids, (T. aestivum L. x T. timopheevii Zhukov.) x T. aestivum L. — 4 wide-hybrids, (T. aestivum L. x L. perenne L.) x T. aestivum L. - 3 wide-hybrids, (T. aestivum L. x Ae. speltoides Taush.) x (T. aestivum L. x T. durum Desf.) — 5 wide-hybrids, obtained from the crosses of the monosomics (2n = 41) of wheat T. aestivum L. mono-5B Chinese Spring, mono-5B Favorit and mono-5B Jara with the related species T. durum Desf, T. timopheevii Zhukov, L. perenne L., and Ae. speltoides Taush. The technological evaluation contained: protein content (%), Zeleny sedimentation indicator (ml), falling number (s) and baking quality (the classes: E - exclusive, A - qualitative, B - bread, and C - remaining), in comparison to the variety Begra according to the COBORU methodology. The high values of the technological indicators and the baking quality of the E-class exceeding that of the variety Begra were identified in the materials. The 3-year results indicated the distinct effects of the genotypes AA BB of T. durum Desf., AA GG of T. timopheevii Zhukov. and LpLp of L. perenne L. on the increase of the technological quality of grain and a minor (the class A) effect of the genotype BB of Ae. speltoides Taush. They indicated a group of wide-hybrids which can provide the starting germplasm to be used in breeding for quality in winter wheat T. aestivum L.
