Method for determination of vitamin B6 - pyridoxine (PN) in fruit juices, nectars and fruit drinks enriched with vitamin B6 and in vitamin formulas was described. After extraction with perchloric acid, pyridoxine was analyzed by RP-HPLC with fluorometric detection at 285/395 nm. The mean recoveries of pyridoxine from fortified (in laboratory) samples were between 98,4 and 99,7% (fruit juice, tablets). The LOD and LOQ of vitamin B6 in samples of juices or nectars were 0,09 and 0,13 µg/ml, respectively and in case of tablets 1,1 and 1,7 µg/g, respectively. The RSD% values were 0,8-2,9.
