There are countries which are leaders in foreign trade, eg. Germany is simultaneously large importer and expotrer of food products. Food import and export may be a good business too. Size of import and export of agricultural products is the result of the state import-export policy. The infrastructure, particularly technical and economical, has many functions both in state economy as well as in agrobussiness. Part of this infrastructure serves the overall national economy, but there are also transport infrastructure, agricultural infrastructure and trade infrastructure; including the foreign trade too. Modern infrastructure is necessary for the development of foreign trade: cooling facilities, storage houses, storages for potatoes, vegetables, fruit, etc. Integration of agri-food industry with the infrastructure development facilitates international trade.
