The objective of the studies was to assess productivity and persistency of white clover in the pasture sward in relation to a clover cultivar, companion grass species and nitrogen fertilization under differentiated habitat conditions. White clover Anda beside cultivar Radzikowska seems to be the most suitable for pasture mixtures with grasses in the poor habitat conditions, without any possibilities for irrigation application. The sown grass species exerted a substantial influence on pasture productivity. The highest influence on pasture sward and the yield were confirmed in combination with meadow fescue. Evident relationship between habitat fertility and N fertilization effect on white clover share in the pasture sward was confirmed. In a more fertile site the influence of mineral nitrogen on clover presence was less as compared to a poor site and very acid one.
