Trhypochthonius semovitusi sp. nov. is described from Poland. The main character of the species is different shape of the prodorsal and notogastral setae. Notogastral setae are short, smoth, with characteristic blunt; all prodorsal setae are barbed, thick, distinctly longer and more solid than notogastral setae.
