Metodą absorpcyjnej spektrometrii atomowej oznaczono zawartość żelaza w 176 próbkach miodów najczęściej spotykanych odmian, pochodzących z różnych rejonów Polski (Pomorza, Śląska, Kujaw, Lubelszczyzny, Małopolski i Wielkopolski).

The contents of iron were determined in 176 samples of particular bee honey grades coming from different regions of Poland. Concentrations of iron were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS), after the mineralization in microwave oven MARS 5X. The average values for iron was 7.65 mg/kg. More iron was found in dark honeys: honeydew honeys (9.36 mg/kg), and less in multifloral honeys (6.27 mg/kg). The determined values were comparable with those reported by others authors.
